About Us

Our Vision

To work collaboratively across the Solihull locality to improve the provision of health care
service, enabling a strong and sustainable local primary care led presence with access to a
widening range of services with patient’s interest driving our decisions.

Who are SoliHealth?

Solihealth Limited was formed in September 2018 as a limited company. It is owned by all 5 of the PCN (Primary Care Network) groups and the board includes a Medical Director and representatives from each group. Each PCN group have their own Clinical Director (CD). It is the responsibility of the board working with the CDs to identify opportunities for new “at scale” services.

The board representatives and CDs support the principle that Solihealth brings together the strong values of local GP practices with the detailed understanding of the diverse population each practice serves and the ability to provide at scale healthcare services.

Board representatives and the CDs work closely with the local NHS Integrated Care Boards (Commissioning Group), Hospitals and secondary care, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and other healthcare organisations in the area to be responsive and proactive to current and future requirements.

All board directors are committed to upholding the seven Nolan principles applicable to those taking a leading role in public matters: these cover the areas of selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.

Solihealth Limited is a registered provider with the Care Quality Commissioner (CQC). The CQC ensures that the services delivered are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led.

I have an Honorary Clinical post with University of Warwick Medical School and am involved in teaching medical students, pharmacy students, Clinical Pharmacists and GP trainees.

Dr Vicky Matiopoulou

GP Principal at Richmond Medical Centre in Solihull and Clinical Director for South Central PCN. I am also the Clinical Lead for Extended Access for Solihealth.  I have been in the practice for 13 years and have special interests in Dermatology, Anticoagulation and MSK.

I feel very proud to be part of the NHS and being a GP.  I will always make the continuous care of the patient my first concern to provide high quality care for our diverse population within Solihull.  Patients need to maintain trust in us as GPs because we are the one constant factor in health care for the patient and to ensure continuity of care during periods of illness and during the patient’s course of life. The GP profession is dedicated on being open, honest and acting with integrity.

We have already established good relationships within South Central PCN, with our patients and valued colleagues.  I am now looking forward to continue developing with our Solihull PCNs and Neighbourhoods.
