Aims and Objectives of Solihealth Limited

Solihealth’s primary purpose is to deliver ‘at scale’ primary care services across the Solihull locality, and surrounding areas where necessary, with the aim of improving health and healthcare within the community, based on the best available understanding of the health needs of the population.

Principles and Aims

  • Making life better for patients, and always aiming to develop new and better ways of providing healthcare in a community setting;
  • Treat all patients and staff with dignity, respect and honesty, in an environment which is accessible, safe and friendly;
  • Provide high quality primary care treatment to the population;
  • Create a courteous, approachable and friendly service environment;
  • To be an active and responsible organisation, ensuring all services provided to patients are delivered and managed in a way that will meet their present and future needs;
  • To understand and meet the needs of patients, involving other healthcare professionals where appropriate;
  • Ensure that services delivered at scale will improve the quality and sustainability of health service in primary care;
  • To be the focal point for all new at scale developments and opportunities, always considering the implications for the population of Solihull and the registered patients on their behalf;
  • Improve service provision through regular monitoring and audit;
  • To act with integrity, confidentiality and ensure robust information governance systems are adhered to;
  • Ensure that all staff supporting the delivery of services have the right skill set and training to carry out their duties competently, and to promote an environment of personal and professional development;

  • Ensure that sufficient stakeholder engagement and consultation, including public engagement, has taken place where appropriate, and has informed service development;
